Ex-Voto Design took it's name from the Mexican Folk art pieces known as Ex-Voto's. Though Ex-Voto's were religious in nature, it is the way in which they were meticulously created that has had it's greatest influence on us. In villages across early Mexico, Ex - Voto's were created by artist;s who's job it was to reproduce stories of miraculous events through distinct images and text. The artist's interpretations of these stories and the final mastery has become the motive driving Ex-Voto Design.
