Day of the dead is one of my favorite times of the year. Marked by the abundance of cempoalxochitl (pronounced cem-pa-SU-chil) or marigolds. Marigolds are used to guide the spirit of our ancestors with their vibrant color and scent. An essential part of any traditional Day of the dead celebration. This pin celebrates the special and festive flower. Each petal of this pin is a variety of orange. Highlighting the multiple and vibrant colors of the marigold. Real flowers will fade, but these pins will stay vibrant! Great to wear year round, Summer, Spring and Fall. These pins are less than an inch in diameter.
